Carol and Jo

July 3rd - 18th

In July, Julian's mom, Carol, and sister, Joanna, visited us. We were super excited for their visit because we miss them a lot and it was their first trip overseas.

I picked them up at the airport and couldn't stop staring at Joanna. I met Joanna when she was 8 years old. The last time I saw her was when she had just graduated from high school and now she's a college girl. She's beautiful and really smart.

I had to work during their visit but I was able to take a couple of long weekends and day trips with them. They went to Himeji Castle and Garden, Kobe, Osaka, Koya-san, Kurashiki, Kyoto and Nara.
